Background:
Won the world championships in sprint in 2000 in Oslo and has a silver medal in the sprint from the 1998 Olympics (did not get to ski the relay in 1998).

Bronze sprint worlds 1999 and bronze relay worlds 2001.

Frode is born in Rotterdam and is also a great cross country skier and mountain bike cyclist, has done very well in several cross country races, among them won the season ender Skarverennet and has a medal from the 50k in the Norwegian championships (2000).

Third overall in the 2001 world cup, girlfriend fellow biathlete Gunn Margit Andreassen.
