Norway?s Frode Estil will skip the Lahti events this upcoming weekend to prepare for what Estil calls a real 50k, the 50k classic with interval start in Holmenkollen, Oslo, in 11 days.

Estil won 2 gold medals and a bronze in the 2005 worlds in Oberstdorf.
