Frode Third in Rupholding

Raphael Poiree won Friday’s men’s biathlon sprint in Rupholding, he shot clean. Germany’s Micheil Greis wes second, he shot clean as well.

Frode Andresen shot 2 missed and finished 3rd.

Hanevold has struggled with skiing speed, the bronze medal winner from the 2001 sprint world championhship is steadily improving, he shot clean and placed 4th.

Frank Luck and Victor Maigourov both shot clean and placed 5th and 6th respectively.

2 relative newcomers placed 7th and 8th, Norway’s Stian Eckhoff and Germany’s Alexander Wolf.

Rostovtsev got misses and placed 12th.

Sumann, another fast skier, also got 2 misses and placed 14th.

Ole Einar Bjoerndalen did not ski.
