Rahpael Poiree, the French biathlete, recorded his 5th win of the season and his 12th overall in Rupholding today and has taken a clear lead in the world cup. The Germans had 3 in the top 6 and a victory earlier this week by Sven Fischer.
In the women’s class Magdalena Forsberg is equally impressive, she recorded her 7th title in a row and her 27th win in total. She as well is a clear world cup leader.
Next up is another week in Anterselva, the world championships will start February 3rd in Pokljuka.
